Spring Happenings...

How in the world is it April 4th?!?!  WOW....  8 weeks of school left.  Time is flying!

Yes, the wind is still blowing 100 mph.  Not really, but some days at least 40-50 mph.  Wears me out!

Just a beautiful picture of West Texas and the blowing dirt I had to send to my LA girls.  They would think they were in you know where.  Not one big tree in sight!

Recess duty is always fun those days...

Got to escape to Dallas for two nights to see these sweet friends.

And eat the best Tres Leche Cake I have EVER put in my mouth.
Mersero on Henderson is where it's at.  Run - don't walk.  Worth every calorie.

Had a super fun day over Spring Break with these precious kids.  Ledger pretty much just follows the older two boys around.  K and B are such great sports about it!  Ellis and Ledger are only 5 weeks apart and pretty much want nothing to do with each other:)

Nothing like fighting over an empty paper towel roll, in my parent's garage, in Hereford.  Now that's cheap entertainment.

One of the BEST things about being back is being close to my Mom and Dad's house. One hour and 15 minutes door to door...  We decided to drive over Easter morning for church and lunch with the family.  Now that is nice.  It does this daughter and now mother's heart good that my Mom doesn't have to watch her grandson grow up on Facetime anymore.  That was painful...

But before we left on Sunday, this happened on Saturday:

You can see the torment on his face, poor little guy...  He had already taken off a shoe, thrown it across the sidewalk and messed up his hair waiting in "the line."  We totally knew how this was going to go...

 First One...

 Middle One...

 And the last one....
Brad and I were dying.  Honestly, it was the best entertainment I have had in a while.

OK - Enough torture...

Much better without that sketchy looking rabbit...

Unless he wants down and screams bloody murder...

My sweet Mom, Aunt Patti, Aunt Paulette and precious little MeMe...

And if you ever need a great rug, Rugs Direct is the place!  Every rug is always 40-75% off.  All.the.time....  And free shipping!

And to wrap up the weekend was Tess's Bday Party!  Ledger and Miles were the only boys in the sea of girls...  But I don't think they minded one bit!  It was a Frozen party complete with a real, live Anna that could BELT out some tunes!  She was amazing.

1- "Hey Tess, I know it's your big day, but let me push the pink stroller!"
2 - Campbell is the BEST baby-sitter.
3. I turned around and saw Ledger wearing this pink, girly apron.  Brad was less than enthused:)
4.  Best group shot we could get.  L screaming and Miles' feet.

And we couldn't leave the party without planting a big, OL, kiss on the birthday girl!
Tess looks petrified...

Happy Spring Guys.  I think it is officially here...

Love,

~H
